This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and implement avionics systems encompassing communication, navigation, and flight control functionalities.
• Establish system architecture, interfaces, and functional specifications.
• Assist in system integration within the aircraft's electrical and avionics framework.
• Integrate avionics systems with various aircraft components such as electrical power, flight control, and cockpit displays.
• Assess system compatibility and performance across the aircraft platform.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Formulate and oversee system requirements utilizing engineering tools.
• Maintain requirements traceability from initial design through to verification.
• Aid in the preparation of system-level documentation and design assessments.
• Create testing procedures and verification strategies.
• Guarantee adherence to aviation regulations and standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of avionics system architecture and integration.
• Familiarity with aircraft electrical systems.
• Proficiency in systems engineering and analytical reasoning.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Capability in technical documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of avionics software and hardware integration.
• Experience in avionics integration and certification procedures.
