📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical liaison with the client, engaging to comprehend future initiatives, business requirements, and overarching technical specifications.

• Contribute to the client's long-term technical strategy, assisting them in understanding the implications and feasibility of their proposed plans.

• Outline the overall system architecture for the catalog value stream, detailing microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and technology selections.

• Develop and convey the long-term architectural vision for the catalog value stream, ensuring alignment with the organization's business strategy.

• Identify and resolve potential conflicts or dependencies between the catalog value stream and other value streams.

• Establish security and compliance standards for the catalog value stream, ensuring all solutions adhere to regulatory and organizational requirements.

• Set high-level tooling and automation standards for the catalog value stream, promoting consistency and efficiency across teams.

• Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations of proposed technologies, assessing compatibility, scalability, and long-term viability, and present findings and recommendations to the Architecture Manager.

• Facilitate high-level communication and collaboration among different teams within the catalog value stream, overseeing the cross-team alignment agenda.

• Identify key areas where technical debt is obstructing the value stream and offer strategic context and guidance for resolution.

• Lead strategic improvement initiatives and long-term architectural refactoring that influence the overall system.

• Create high-level architectural diagrams and documentation for system-wide reference.

• Provide guidance on architecture-impacting changes when escalated, including significant refactoring with system-wide consequences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in systems architecture design for large-scale, global B2B applications.

• Demonstrated ability to function as the primary technical interface with clients, engaging to grasp business needs, future initiatives, and high-level technical requirements.

• Experience in contributing to long-term technical roadmaps, aiding stakeholders in understanding the implications of their technological choices.

• Strong expertise in defining overall system architecture, including microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and technology selections.

• In-depth knowledge of Java as the primary backend language.

• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot for developing enterprise-grade, distributed systems.

• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure, encompassing cloud-native architecture, managed services, and platform capabilities.

• Experience in establishing security and compliance standards at a system-wide level.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, particularly using Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Ability to carry out thorough technical evaluations of proposed technologies, evaluating compatibility, scalability, and long-term viability.

• A genuine passion for Artificial Intelligence, with the capability to integrate AI-driven strategies into architectural decisions.

• Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Proven ability to foster cross-team alignment, facilitating collaboration among multiple teams within a value stream.

• Experience in supporting or collaborating with engineering leadership, providing technical context and insights to guide strategic decisions.
