This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• In the capacity of a Systems Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions within PwC’s Managed Data Services division.

• This position necessitates a robust background in software architecture, data engineering, and cloud technologies, along with a comprehensive understanding of architectural best practices, security, and compliance.

• You will be engaged in both high-level and low-level design processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical viability.

• Your proficiency in tackling complex challenges, executing proof-of-concepts (POCs), and creating reusable frameworks will be crucial for fostering team innovation and achieving success.

• Create C4 architecture models utilizing diagram-as-code tools such as Structurizr for C4 models and PlantUML or Mermaid for sequence diagrams.

• Contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs) and translate them into Low-Level Designs (LLDs), which include class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

• Conduct POCs and perform research to investigate new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Ensure consistency, alignment, and a unified architectural vision across various teams.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, Operations, and Engineering teams to guarantee the integration and continuous deployment of solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in C4 modeling, with practical experience in Structurizr, PlantUML, and Mermaid.

• Solid understanding of programming languages (C# preferred; Python is a plus), including Dependency Injection and advanced design patterns.

• Experience with cloud-native data platforms, particularly Azure Databricks, Fabric, and Purview.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct POCs, create frameworks, and advocate for technical advancement.

• Experience in defining reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best practices.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, possessing a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

• Strong grasp of DevOps, SRE, and Operations methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

• Previous experience as a Systems Architect, along with 2+ years as a Tech/Engineering Lead and 7+ years as a Developer.
