Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Guide technical discussions to ensure clarity and intent in architectural choices for development teams;

• Create scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures, particularly focusing on Azure and AWS;

• Strategize and implement the migration of complex workloads to cloud environments;

• Establish and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for development, including the diagnostics of legacy systems;

• Serve as a mentor in utilizing AI accelerators to enhance engineering processes and business solutions;

• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards while mentoring team members;

• Develop and maintain High-Level Architectures (HLAs), Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), and technical specifications for various stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Design high-performance, scalable architectures;

• Familiarity with services like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API Management;

• Proficiency in Java 17+ and the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Cloud) for containerized microservices; knowledge of Python and Node.js is a plus;

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka), and SQL/NoSQL databases;

• Proficiency in Terraform or Bicep;

• Experience in environments that utilize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging;

• Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP).
