Systems Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the Texas Health and Human Services Commission with the SHARP Data Engineering and Data Governance initiative.

• Comprehend business goals and challenges while identifying alternative solutions.

• Conduct analyses and cost/benefit evaluations of suggested alternatives.

• Assess user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate tasks or enhance existing computer systems.

• Collaborate with personnel from various organizational units to evaluate current operational processes and pinpoint problems.

• Acquire and document specific input and output requirements, including types of data input, data summarization, and report formats.

• Compose detailed descriptions of user needs, program functionalities, and the steps necessary to develop or modify computer programs.

• Evaluate computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to ascertain the feasibility of requested programs or modifications.

• Independently execute a range of complex tasks utilizing experience and judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10 years of experience utilizing Informatica tools such as Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, and Entity360.

• 10 years of experience in establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations.

• 10 years of experience in implementing data quality rules through Informatica DQ.

• Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred.

• 4 years of experience working with enterprise-scale datasets in Snowflake.

• 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be accepted; a Master's degree or 6 years of experience is preferred.

• 2 years of experience in healthcare or Public Health.

• 2 years of experience at a state agency.

• 2 years of experience using Python scripts for automation and API interactions.
