Software Engineer, Embedded – Associate, Experienced, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, troubleshoot, and uphold software integrated into embedded devices and systems.

• Evaluate, interpret, and convert customer requirements into software product designs.

• Develop and write code for embedded systems software customized for specific specialized hardware.

• Effectively integrate embedded software with hardware components.

• Offer insights on best practices for software and hardware integration.

• Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory updates pertinent to software and hardware development.

• Conduct testing and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems.

• Assess, monitor, and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Current US Secret Clearance or the capability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.

• Over 1 year of professional experience in software development.

• More than 1 year of experience in developing embedded software using C.

• Experience in working with and/or developing embedded systems.

• Proven experience in embedded real-time software development for avionics or safety-critical hardware systems.

• Familiarity with low-level development, including creating kernel and user mode drivers for Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

• Strong grasp of high-integrity software development practices.

• Experience in developing, reviewing, and maintaining code that complies with aviation and safety-critical software standards.

• Capacity to independently identify and resolve complex technical issues using sound engineering principles.
