This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver operational assistance, manage changes, and ensure continuous maintenance of IT applications.
• Support designated applications while conducting analysis and troubleshooting tasks.
• Facilitate operational, application, and administrative responsibilities within a highly available IT environment.
• Offer direct support for IT applications and enhance client workflows.
• Engage in project initiatives and planning activities; collaborate with fellow Analysts.
• Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders while developing communication strategies.
• Collaborate with the IS help desk to provide training and assist in resolving issues.
• Gather input from client leadership regarding projects and enhancements; manage vendor interactions.
• Proactively inform stakeholders about completion timelines and operational challenges.
• Exercise leadership with clients, address conflicts, propose and execute solutions, and participate in training sessions.
• Assess user needs, requirements, workflows, system capabilities, and root causes; suggest feasible solutions.
• Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions on other applications and utilize application-specific tools to monitor system performance.
• Take part in project scope definition, charter creation, training, risk management, implementation, and progress tracking.
• Configure systems, implement testing plans, document outcomes, maintain software modifications across production and testing environments, and create test scripts.
• Adhere to change management, downtime, disaster recovery, security protocols, and vendor service level agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and team members on User Acceptance Testing strategies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare system involving systems analysis and/or IT activities.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Nursing, or Health Care Administration is preferred.
• Relevant experience exceeding 3 years in Health Services, or suitable certifications may be accepted as a substitute.
• Complete all IT Proficiency Requirements within one year (if applicable).
• Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification is preferred.
• Certification directly related to the supported application is preferred.
• Proficiency in applications supported by the department, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Project Web App.
• Ability to professionally manage frequent deadlines for reports and associated tasks, and prepare work and presentations on short notice.
• Must be capable of clear communication by phone.
