• The Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in the Compliance team, tasked with managing and ensuring the prompt application of security patches and updates across all endpoints and servers. This position is vital for protecting the organization and its clients against vulnerabilities by adhering to patch management policies. The Patching Analyst will leverage advanced tools such as NABLE to monitor, report, and troubleshoot patch deployments, while also maintaining effective communication with clients regarding any changes or issues that may arise. This role requires a robust technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced IT environment.
• **What you’ll be doing:**
• - Overseeing toolsets that monitor our customer environments, including Icinga & NCentral.
• - Taking ownership and ensuring the success of the patching toolset for our customers.
• - Maintaining and patching firmware for server infrastructure.
• - Keeping server operating systems up to date and properly patched.
• - Troubleshooting systems and infrastructure issues for our managed services clients.
• - Staying informed about new technologies and industry trends within the managed services sector.
• - Committing to continuous improvement through training, self-study, and obtaining vendor certifications.
• - Accurately recording time on tickets and documenting work performed.
• - Creating and updating technical documentation.
• - Engaging with clients to understand their technical needs and deliver effective solutions.
• - Collaborating with colleagues to identify processes that require enhancement or can be executed more efficiently.
• - Actively seeking customer feedback on your performance and striving for continuous improvement.
• - Participating in occasional (paid) overtime work.
• - Identifying issues or requests without an existing process and working with peers to develop and implement one.
• - Taking charge of daily technology issues and liaising with external third-party organizations.
