This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address alerts from the HART system and networking, triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents.
• Collaborate closely with other support teams to ensure timely handling of incident events.
• Ensure compliance with STIGs and patch requirements for both Windows and RHEL operating systems.
• Maintain STIGs and patch compliance for middleware and application servers including WebLogic, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, and Apache Camel.
• Oversee STIGs and patch compliance for Active Directory, MySQL, and Postgres SQL databases and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system health before and after patching using Dynatrace/Splunk.
• Prepare and send incident notifications to government stakeholders and other support teams.
• Conduct health checks on systems critical to infrastructure, including servers.
• Document, track, and coordinate incidents using ServiceNow.
• Execute Tier II-level administration tasks to maintain HART system operations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier III support.
• Assist in postmortem activities and contribute to various operational improvement efforts.
• Implement new and enhanced processes, change existing ones, perform new tasks, generate reports, and respond to ad-hoc requests based on management recommendations.
• Contribute to the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids documentation.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Capability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
• Eligibility to secure Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred.
• A BA/BS degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification (not mandatory to begin, but expected to be obtained within the first six months).
• Availability to work the shift: MON-FRI 4pm - Midnight.
• Proficiency in RHEL administration, Windows administration, and RH Satellite management.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, VPCs, RDS, IAM) and capability to conduct hardening and patch cycles.
• Ability to execute Ansible automation and Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong background in STIGs and patch compliance.
• Familiarity with Service Now service management software, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience utilizing Splunk, Dynatrace, and Tenable monitoring and security tools.
• Knowledge of AWS native tools for DevOps and automation.
