System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install and set up software, hardware, and services.

• Oversee cloud solutions, servers, and networking infrastructures.

• Implement and uphold security protocols, including access control lists and firewalls.

• Manage backup and recovery systems effectively.

• Monitor system performance and perform necessary maintenance tasks.

• Plan and acquire technical equipment and software subscriptions.

• Provide expert advice on system options, requirements, and cost-benefit analyses.

• Create and sustain an internal documentation portal.

• Plan and execute system enhancements.

• Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator or in a similar position.

• Strong knowledge of Windows (administrator level) and Linux (experienced user level).

• Proficient in virtualization, particularly Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Enterprise Application Deployment.

• Solid experience with networking (firewalls, routing, VLANs, ACLs, VPN, Wireless Access Points, etc.).

• Familiarity with the Atlassian Stack (Jira Cloud / Confluence Cloud).

• Experience with backup and recovery software tools or services.

• Basic skills in RDBMS administration and SQL.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automating tasks.

• Experience utilizing modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Codex, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity, automate routine administrative tasks, assist with scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and system administration where applicable.

• Strong command of the English language (the company's official language).

• Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates.

• BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, or networking certifications) are advantageous.
