System Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Utilizes scientific methodologies to analyze and resolve software engineering challenges.

• Charged with the development and implementation of software engineering practices and expertise in research, design, development, and maintenance.

• Demonstrates original thinking and judgment, along with the capability to oversee both the technical and administrative tasks of fellow software engineers.

• Cultivates skills and knowledge within the software engineering discipline to meet the standard expectations for the relevant role.

• Collaborates effectively as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

• Creates System Qualification and Integration Tests.

• Ensures that requirements are clearly defined and testable.

• Develops methods to comprehensively test system and integration requirements when all interfaces are not available for testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses over a year of relevant professional experience.

• Strong grasp of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.

• Five years of experience in test engineering.

• Extensive technical skills across various domains, including:
• Test methodologies
• Test equipment & programming (Python/MATLAB)
• Requirement writing (JAMA, Doors, or ALM tool)
• Test case writing (JAMA, Doors, or ALM tool)
• Software
• Hardware
• HIL setup expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Software.
