System Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Manage and uphold employee and partner access to Payor and Internet Portals in accordance with job titles.

• Ensure that access termination occurs promptly.

• Generate new User IDs and initial passwords based on employee requests and Security Access Request forms.

• Assign appropriate security-level access for systems according to job roles.

• Address requests from users in alignment with SLA requirements.

• Provide training to users for accessing new applications after User IDs and passwords are established.

• Identify and resolve security issues hindering access to applications or data.

• Ensure that administrative access is limited unless authorized by Systems Security leadership.

• Suggest and apply suitable resolutions.

• Update and manage the Associate Maintenance Master by monitoring approvals and requesting modifications.

• Support Segregation of Duties and Sarbanes-Oxley audits.

• Keep training materials, job aids, document version controls, informational databases, and security communications current.

• Offer guidance and instructions to less experienced team members.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in provisioning and maintaining employee and partner access to Payor and Internet Portals.

• Proficient in creating User IDs and initial passwords.

• Knowledge of applying security access levels based on employee job titles.

• Ability to respond within SLA requirements.

• Skilled in troubleshooting security issues that impact application or data access.

• Capable of restricting administrative access according to approval protocols.

• Experience in tracking approvals and managing Associate Maintenance Master updates.

• Familiarity with assisting in Segregation of Duties and Sarbanes-Oxley audits.

• Proficient in maintaining training materials, job aids, document version controls, and informational databases.

• Adherence to Systems Security Control Policy RM205-001 and Apria procedures.

• Ability to provide guidance to less experienced staff members.
