System Engineer – Oracle Datenbankadministration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will manage and optimize Oracle databases in complex customer environments.

• You will install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems.

• You will develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.

• You will conduct performance analyses, tuning measures, and troubleshooting.

• You will create scripts to automate tasks and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the integrity and security of the databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training or a degree in the IT field or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in managing Oracle databases.

• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and ideally with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.

• A structured, independent working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Very good German language skills and good English language skills.

• Customer orientation, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
