This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily operations, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring service reliability for Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.

• Aid in the design, deployment, configuration, patching, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and platform services.

• Develop, sustain, and implement Infrastructure as Code utilizing Azure Bicep and Azure CLI or PowerShell.

• Facilitate the provisioning and operational readiness of Azure AI services, including Microsoft Foundry.

• Collect requirements and provide cloud platform functionalities that align with business objectives.

• Create and uphold technical documentation, operational procedures, standards, runbooks, and support resources.

• Engage in change management, production readiness, availability management, and incident response activities.

• Recognize automation possibilities, minimize manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to offer technical recommendations, establish cloud standards, security practices, and platform enhancements.

• Deliver customer-oriented technical support and convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure expenses and assist in optimization, chargeback, and cost allocation efforts.

• Maintain and configure monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and CloudWatch.

• Assist with security patching, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of compliance controls.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in Information Technology within an enterprise setting.

• Experience in supporting cloud infrastructure or enterprise platforms within a medium to large IT organization.

• Proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud operations, encompassing compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, security, and cost-sensitive operations.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Azure Bicep and Azure CLI or PowerShell.

• Capability to support fundamental cloud design patterns, environmental configuration, deployment automation, and operational troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of change management, production acceptance, availability management, and incident/problem management.

• Ability to create technical documentation, process flows, test plans, and operational runbooks.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and customer service abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks, implement project plans, and complete assignments within specified timelines.

• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI services, AI model deployment, AI service provisioning, or related AI platform operations.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI operations, responsible AI, model lifecycle support, prompt engineering, or operational monitoring for AI services.

• Preferred: experience with AI coding agents or developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude Code, or similar platforms.

• Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, and automated deployment processes.

• Preferred: scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, or AWS CLI.

• Preferred: understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, logging, monitoring, policy enforcement, and compliance controls.

• Preferred: relevant cloud or AI certifications.

• Must successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment.
