System Engineer – End of Period Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• You will enhance and streamline existing End of Period (EOP) processes while providing support for initiatives related to our key Banking and Healthcare clients, spanning from the initial strategy phase to the final production rollout.

• Responsible for the design and development of automated Avaloq EOP (End of Period) processes tailored for Avaloq banks and the healthcare sector.

• Analyze and improve the efficiency of batch processes.

• Automate various business processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Avaloq Batch Engineering with Automic / UC4 (workflow automation, scheduling, scripting).

• In-depth knowledge of the Avaloq banking system (batch configuration, parameter control, ACP).

• Basic proficiency in SQL / Oracle queries, performance analysis, and data validation.

• Experience with Linux / Unix log analysis, process monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Background in engineering, testing, deployment, and operation of production-critical systems.

• Fluent in German; proficiency in English is a plus.

• Strong competence in incident, problem, and change management (ITIL certification is advantageous).

• Methodical, analytical approach to work with a strong commitment to EOP/EOY processes.

• Excellent communication skills, a team player, and comfortable engaging with clients and partners.
