System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist development teams with infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation support.

• Implement application and infrastructure updates in the production environment.

• Diagnose and resolve issues occurring in production.

• Manage and enhance Linux-based systems.

• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Nomad in projects.

• Streamline operational and deployment workflows through automation.

• Engage with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams.

• Participate in technical discussions and refinement meetings.

• Contribute to the enhancement of reliability, monitoring, and deployment workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a System Engineer, DevOps, or infrastructure-oriented position.

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Practical experience with Docker technologies.

• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and/or Nomad.

• Solid grasp of networking principles.

• Proficiency in scripting or developing tools using at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python, or Go.

• Experience utilizing Git for version control.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform.

• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.

• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.

• Capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication abilities and a cooperative approach when engaging with development teams.

• Proficient in Polish and comfortable with English communication, both spoken and written.

• Willingness to travel several times a year.

• Openness to collaborating with international teams from Canada, the US, and China.
