This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and facilitate discussions for solutions with customers and vendors.
• Identify system interface needs and develop corresponding solutions, including technical architecture diagrams.
• Act as a bridge for communication between both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate project challenges and formulate resolutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Grasp the long-term system vision and devise scalable technical implementation strategies.
• Clarify requirements and recommend solutions that align with business milestones.
• Engage with existing customers to understand their needs, assess solutions, and provide strategic advice.
• Choose technical solutions and methodologies for both anticipated and actual requirements.
• Oversee solution design and the development of architectural models, process diagrams, operational concepts, and associated documentation.
• Diagnose broader system challenges and collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completions.
• Generate both high-level and detailed project estimates.
• Create technical workflows and supporting documentation for enterprise systems projects.
• Assist in implementing best practices for technical development and deployment.
• Modernize a key legacy application by utilizing Agile and Cloud development methodologies.
• BA/BS degree in computer science, systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in technical leadership.
• Proven history of leading and managing successful application modernization projects, especially in mainframe-to-web/mobile transitions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Extensive experience in developing and managing workflows, user interfaces, decision rules, and data models.
• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience and/or certification in Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with UI/UX and mobile application development.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive Government background screening process, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
• U.S. residency is required for the security clearance process.
• U.S. citizenship is not a requirement.
