Architecture Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive the technical strategy and lead architectural decisions across various client engagements in collaboration with the Engineering Director.

• Engage in pre-sales activities and initiatives for account growth.

• Design and implement technical solutions for complex, mission-critical challenges.

• Define architectural patterns, establish technical standards, and promote scalable engineering best practices.

• Act as the primary technical escalation point and Trusted Advisor for clients.

• Transform business challenges into actionable technical strategies.

• Mentor senior engineers and architects.

• Advocate for AI and Agentic SDLC/DDLC practices as well as AI-enhanced delivery methodologies.

• Lead technical discovery sessions and gather requirements effectively.

• Create and present technical proposals.

• Contribute to the development of statements of work and define project scope.

• Identify opportunities for account expansion and develop compelling business cases.

• Aid in the cultivation and expansion of client relationships.

• Ensure the scalability, security, and operational efficiency of deployed solutions.

• Define KPIs, monitor the health of solutions, and suggest ongoing improvements.

• Manage technical risks and escalate issues as needed.

• Promote Agile methodologies and maintain secure, high-quality engineering standards.

• Establish architectural consistency across teams and client projects.

• Ensure adherence to CI&T technical guidelines, governance frameworks, and best practices.

• Contribute to pre-sales initiatives, mentor senior engineers or architects, establish organization-wide standards, and support contract expansions or new business acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience at CI&T.

• Proven history of consistently high-performance delivery on one or more client engagements.

• Currently functioning at the Architecture Manager level, or a Systems Architect prepared to advance into this role.

• Demonstrated independence and capability to own outcomes with minimal supervision.

• Strong track record in client-facing roles.

• Solid engineering background in systems design, technical problem-solving, and architectural thinking.

• Advanced proficiency in English for daily interactions and complex technical discussions with international clients.

• Experience working with international or multinational clients.

• Proactive, self-directed attitude with a willingness to take ownership of growth initiatives.

• Preferred: experience with data modernization, cloud platforms, or data engineering, including Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and cloud data architectures.

• Preferred: background in regulated sectors such as fintech, mortgage, healthcare, or insurance.

• Preferred: experience in pre-sales, technical proposal creation, and client presentations.

• Preferred: experience in drafting or collaborating on statements of work and scope documentation.

• Preferred: ability to align technical and business stakeholders effectively.
