System Administrator III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in supporting the technical infrastructure, which comprises hardware, software, and cloud service provider elements.

• Establish the connections among IT platform and infrastructure components.

• Recognize significant technology interactions and dependencies across various systems and platforms.

• Examine and analyze issues to determine root causes and ensure prompt resolution.

• Design and implement solutions for system monitoring and performance enhancement.

• Develop, execute, and uphold backup strategies.

• Ensure maintenance of security and integrity controls.

• Create written technical documentation, training materials, standards, and reports.

• Assess and recommend the procurement of hardware and software.

• Provide support for Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP) exercises.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Capability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Must possess identification that complies with the Real ID Act at the time of employment.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Energy PIV badge.

• Must be able to acquire and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

• Experience with Identity Management solutions such as Entra ID, OKTA, and Ping Identity.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Management, Identity Management, AZURE ecosystem, and Zero Trust principles.
