System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the patch management for endpoints and servers across MacOS and Windows platforms, in addition to Windows and Linux servers.

• Employ PowerShell scripting to streamline automation and management processes.

• Manage Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365, focusing on user administration and configuration.

• Develop virtual machines, oversee Azure resources, and establish policies and profiles.

• Engage in the hands-on design and execution of user and device policies utilizing Microsoft Entra.

• Patch and distribute desktop applications through Microsoft Intune.

• Implement policies and restrictions to uphold security and compliance standards.

• Work in conjunction with IT management to shape the overall desktop management strategy and support needs.

• Incorporate best practices and innovative technologies such as VDI, thin client solutions, and enterprise mobility management.

• Manage asset lifecycle, which includes inventory oversight, asset refresh, reporting, and auditing.

• Act as a point of escalation for third-party helpdesk and internal staff concerning desktop and service desk challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in endpoint and server patch management.

• Extensive proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

• Practical experience in administering Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365.

• Skilled in creating virtual machines, managing Azure resources, and setting up policies.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune for deploying desktop applications.

• Strong comprehension of desktop management strategies and industry best practices.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and operate independently.
