System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of endpoint and server patching for MacOS and Windows computers, as well as Windows and Linux servers.

• Leverage PowerShell scripting for automation and management activities.

• Administer Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365, focusing on user management and configuration.

• Construct virtual machines, manage Azure resources, and establish policies and profiles.

• Engage in the design and implementation of user and device policies utilizing Microsoft Entra.

• Patch and deploy desktop applications through Microsoft Intune.

• Implement policies and restrictions to maintain security and compliance.

• Work in conjunction with IT management to outline the overall desktop management strategy and support requirements.

• Incorporate best practices and emerging technologies, including VDI, thin client technology, and enterprise mobility management.

• Manage asset lifecycle processes, encompassing inventory management, asset refresh, reporting, and audits.

• Act as an escalation point for third-party helpdesk and internal staff concerning desktop and service desk issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in endpoint and server patch management.

• In-depth knowledge of PowerShell scripting.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft 365 administration.

• Proficiency in creating virtual machines, managing Azure resources, and configuring policies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for desktop application deployment.

• Solid understanding of desktop management strategies and best practices.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
