System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ghana.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure along with business systems.

• Administer platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and other internal tools.

• Create, modify, deactivate, and delete user accounts and permissions.

• Set up and sustain SSO, MFA, and identity management frameworks.

• Monitor servers, cloud services, storage, backups, and overall system performance.

• Conduct regular system updates, security patches, and maintenance tasks.

• Track uptime, availability, and general system health.

• Diagnose infrastructure, network, and application-related issues.

• Apply cybersecurity best practices and enforce access controls.

• Manage VPNs, DNS, domains, SSL certificates, and email systems.

• Uphold backup and disaster recovery protocols.

• Document IT systems, workflows, and technical processes.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and retrieving equipment and accounts.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to address technical challenges.

• Suggest enhancements to boost security, automation, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in System Administration or IT Infrastructure roles.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and security best practices.

• Proven experience managing SaaS applications and user access.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and documentation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.
