This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, implement, and provide support for intricate Microsoft 365 and infrastructure solutions.
• Enhance security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of technical outcomes related to identity, endpoint management, collaboration, security, cloud services, and infrastructure operations.
• Execute projects from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, documentation, handoff, and ongoing support.
• Address complex technical challenges across users, devices, applications, cloud services, and network-connected systems.
• Balance project delivery, escalations, and routine operations efficiently.
• Collaborate with a small IT team while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure successful handoffs to support teams.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, automation, process improvement, and security remediation.
• Occasionally work after-hours for priority issues, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Microsoft 365, infrastructure, endpoint, identity, or cloud-based solutions.
• A proven track record of delivering complex Microsoft 365 and infrastructure solutions that enhance business or IT outcomes.
• Capability to manage projects from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, documentation, handoff, and ongoing support.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, and associated security and compliance features.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, encompassing core services, identity, governance, security, and operations.
• Experience in enhancing identity, endpoint, email, security, automation, or operational processes in a production environment.
• Proficiency in resolving complex technical issues across users, devices, applications, cloud services, and network-connected systems.
• Excellent documentation, communication, organization, and follow-through abilities.
• Capability to sit/stand and move freely for up to 8 hours each day.
