Swim Lesson Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Instruct participants in accordance with YMCA Aquatics program standards utilizing lesson guides.

• Prepare, disassemble, and store equipment for each class session.

• Understand and be familiar with the Emergency Action Plan and Emergency Evacuation Routes.

• Consistently and fairly enforce Aquatics safety regulations.

• Foster positive relationships with class participants, parents, and fellow staff members.

• Actively engage in training sessions and meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Current YMCA Swim Lessons certification or American Red Cross certification (WSI) is preferred.

• Exceptional hospitality skills are necessary.

• Must be open to working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
