Survivorship Behavioral Health Clinician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess the mental health requirements of cancer survivors and track their progress to modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Implement evidence-based individualized and group therapy protocols specifically designed for cancer survivors.

• Collaborate effectively with other members of the survivorship care team to recognize and address the mental health requirements of patients in light of their personal histories and unique experiences, thereby fostering a holistic and integrated approach to survivorship care.

• Assist in the execution of an innovative collaborative care program for cancer survivorship (CoCM), advocating for the incorporation of mental health support within the broader care framework.

• Aid the care team in formulating comprehensive care plans, offering expertise in behavioral health interventions as needed to ensure comprehensive patient support.

• Provide psychoeducation to survivors and their families, utilizing evidence-based OncoveryCare educational materials and state-of-the-art resources related to survivorship care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in treating patients within a psycho-oncology or survivorship care environment is essential.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (such as LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) is required.

• Proficient in therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

• Strong communication skills, along with empathy and active listening abilities.

• Capability to independently advance projects while collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

• Must be available for a full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
