Survey Crew Chief

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys

• Plan, coordinate, and carry out field survey operations across various states

• Operate and maintain surveying instruments (GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, etc.)

• Analyze project specifications, plats, deeds, and legal descriptions

• Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and quality of field data collection

• Communicate efficiently with project managers, office personnel, and clients as required

• Keep daily field notes, reports, and documentation up to date

• Engage in extensive travel (multi-state travel is required, often on a weekly basis)

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief

• Extensive experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys

• Proficient in using modern surveying equipment and software

• Capability to read and interpret survey plans, title commitments, and legal documents

• Strong leadership abilities and crew management skills

• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently (up to 75–100%)

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history

• CST certification or an equivalent is a plus

• Experience working across multiple states or regions is an advantage

• Familiarity with state-specific surveying requirements in TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, and AL is a plus
