Survey Crew Chief

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

• Strategically plan, organize, and implement field survey operations across various states.

• Utilize and maintain survey instruments (GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, etc.).

• Analyze project specifications, plats, deeds, and legal descriptions.

• Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and quality of field data collection.

• Effectively communicate with project managers, office personnel, and clients as required.

• Keep accurate daily field notes, reports, and documentation.

• Engage in extensive travel (multi-state travel is required, often on a weekly basis).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.

• Extensive experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

• Proficient in using modern survey tools and software.

• Capability to read and interpret survey plans, title commitments, and legal documents.

• Strong leadership qualities and crew management abilities.

• Willingness and capability to travel frequently (up to 75–100%).

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• CST certification or equivalent is a plus.

• Experience working across multiple states or regions is advantageous.

• Familiarity with state-specific survey regulations in TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, and AL is a plus.
