Survey Crew Chief

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey projects.

• Strategically plan, organize, and implement field survey operations across various states.

• Operate and maintain surveying instruments (GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, etc.).

• Analyze project specifications, plats, deeds, and legal documentation.

• Guarantee the precision, thoroughness, and quality of field data collection.

• Effectively communicate with project managers, office personnel, and clients as necessary.

• Keep detailed daily field notes, reports, and documentation.

• Engage in extensive travel (multi-state travel is required, often on a weekly basis).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.

• Extensive experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

• Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment and software.

• Capability to read and interpret survey plans, title commitments, and legal documents.

• Strong leadership abilities and crew management experience.

• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently (up to 75–100%).

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• CST certification or its equivalent is advantageous.

• Experience in working across multiple states or regions is a plus.

• Familiarity with state-specific survey regulations in TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, and AL is a plus.
