Survey Crew Chief

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

• Strategically plan, organize, and carry out field survey operations in various states.

• Utilize and uphold survey equipment including GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.

• Analyze project specifications, plats, deeds, and legal descriptions.

• Guarantee the accuracy, thoroughness, and quality of field data collection.

• Effectively communicate with project managers, office personnel, and clients as necessary.

• Keep accurate daily field notes, reports, and documentation.

• Engage in extensive travel (multi-state travel required, often on a weekly basis).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.

• Extensive experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.

• Expertise in operating modern survey equipment and software.

• Capability to read and interpret survey plans, title commitments, and legal documents.

• Proven leadership and crew management abilities.

• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently (up to 75–100%).

• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• CST certification or its equivalent is advantageous.

• Experience operating across multiple states or regions is a plus.

• Familiarity with state-specific survey regulations in TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, and AL is advantageous.
