This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Serve as the representative for our leading surgical glaucoma product line to eye care professionals (ECPs), addressing their patients' needs.
• Report directly to the U.S. Regional Sales Manager.
• Responsible for promoting and selling New World Medical’s range of surgical glaucoma products to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Maintain and enhance annual sales volume within the region.
• Achieve both territory-level and corporate business objectives through the promotion and sale of New World Medical glaucoma products to ECPs.
• Offer product and technical advice to ECPs on the correct application of New World Medical surgical glaucoma products.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan and routing schedule for the territory to maximize revenue from high-potential clients.
• Schedule and conduct pre-booked calls on a daily basis.
• Increase sales by introducing physicians to New World Medical surgical glaucoma products.
• Organize wet labs with targeted teaching institutions to train ophthalmic residents and physicians.
• Build and sustain customer relationships by responding to all inquiries within twelve (12) hours, following up on customer calls, and resolving issues promptly.
• Engage with customers at conventions, educational events, and similar gatherings.
• Attend Area/Regional meetings as required.
• Effectively manage and prioritize time to meet territory goals.
• Handle all administrative tasks, including expense report completion and email/voicemail communications.
• A 4-year degree is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, 5 or more years of experience in Ophthalmic/Ophthalmic surgical/medical devices with established customer relationships and a proven performance record.
• At least 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is required if a 4-year degree is obtained and verifiable.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Experience in vendor credentialing within the medical field.
• Ability to follow through and deliver results in a timely manner.
• Consistently follow up to communicate with necessary contacts and maintain relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy in maintaining records and receipts.
• A creative self-starter who can effectively complete tasks.
• Mechanically inclined with the capability to demonstrate products in real-time scenarios.
• Proficient presentation skills, capable of addressing groups of up to 30 people.
• Creative thinker with the ability to devise immediate solutions.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
