This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Deliver specialized technical support to surgeons and operating room personnel during live surgical procedures.
• Serve as the national authority on V-Loc Barbed Sutures, Conventional Sutures, and specialty conversion products.
• Facilitate training for operating room nurses, Surgical Technicians, and Residents on product codes, needle anatomy, and material science.
• Coordinate the removal of competitive inventory and manage the organization of Medtronic stock within operating room cores and specialty carts.
• Conduct audits of hospital usage to pinpoint exact product equivalents and minimize clinical disruptions.
• Collaborate with local Surgical Account Managers to achieve conversion volume goals and deadlines.
• Act as the Lead Representative in high-priority facilities or complex accounts.
• Present clinical data and performance metrics to hospital leadership and Value Analysis stakeholders.
• Provide coverage for territories undergoing transitions or vacancies.
• Execute inventory swaps and staff training within designated implementation periods.
• Propel accounts towards contract execution and compliance.
• Ensure surgeon satisfaction regarding clinical outcomes and product feel during transitions.
• Travel to various hospital accounts within the assigned region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Nursing, or a related discipline.
• At least 2+ years of sales or clinical experience within a hospital setting.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ within the U.S. region.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proven track record of success in sales performance and persuasive communication.
• Familiarity with hospital vendor/distributor workflows and supply chain management.
• Capacity to create and present complex business reviews to C-Suite and Value Analysis stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments and work autonomously or as a team leader.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to navigate complex CRM and inventory databases.
• Foreign degrees must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below Principal level.
