This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance and support to ACS CAN field personnel to ensure successful education and issue campaigns through strategic advice and best-practice consultation.

• Develop and oversee campaign strategies that promote state and local legislative and regulatory initiatives related to assigned campaign issues.

• Evaluate legislative proposals and provide both oral and written analyses, guidance, training, and support.

• Generate monthly reports and updates for stakeholders and funders regarding program performance.

• Assist in the programmatic efforts of contractors and manage assigned budgets effectively.

• Act as a representative for ACS CAN with regional, state, and local external partners, stakeholders, and funders.

• Build, nurture, and manage relationships to fulfill campaign and grant objectives while fostering diverse partnerships.

• Work in collaboration with national policy, media, grassroots, and federal teams to maintain consistency in messaging and positioning.

• Monitor campaign activities and results, ensuring effective communication across teams and organizational levels.

• Travel by car and/or airplane as required to meet work obligations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in executing campaign or legislative campaign strategies.

• Familiarity with working alongside diverse coalitions.

• Capacity to multitask and show adaptability in approach.

• Proficient in performing basic analysis and interpreting legislative, statutory, and regulatory texts.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated proficiency with technology platforms.

• Willingness to travel by car and/or airplane as necessary.

• Capability to fulfill work obligations while traveling.

• Previous experience in advocacy campaign management is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Canva and skills in creating infographics for storytelling are beneficial.
