SUR Developer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of applications that support the Surveillance and Utilization Review (SUR) program.

• Develop, test, and maintain application components utilizing Oracle PL/SQL, C#, and ASP.NET.

• Aid in the analysis of business and technical requirements.

• Create and modify database objects, including packages, procedures, functions, and queries.

• Provide support for application troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.

• Engage in code reviews while adhering to coding standards and SDLC processes.

• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and senior developers to implement system enhancements.

• Document technical designs, code modifications, and operational procedures.

• Assist with production issues and participate in on-call activities as assigned.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and application modernization efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in software development, application support, or a similar technical role.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Fundamental programming and database experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and relational database concepts.

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), best practices in software development, web application development, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Capacity to work efficiently in a team setting and support business goals.

• Willingness to adopt a flexible schedule to meet business requirements and travel as needed.

• Video cameras are required during all interviews and the first week of orientation.

• Preferred familiarity with SSRS, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps/Git, Visual Studio, and experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or government systems.
