This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Engage with clients and perform primary data entry into the application program.
• Manage and optimize the billing and collections processes.
• Conduct the month-end closing activities for the billing group information.
• Plan and execute quality assurance measures for all operational processes.
• Develop and implement special program and billing strategies.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Capable of verifying benefits and eligibility via phone and online (ensuring payer confirmation prior to patient admission).
• Skilled in checking authorization status through phone and online channels (assessing authorization levels, approved days, last covered date, etc.).
• Experience with Census (verifying information in the system prior to submitting claims to insurance).
• Proficient in checking claims through phone and online resources.
• Responsible for managing patient cases until full payment is achieved (including resubmitting claims for reprocessing if denied incorrectly and sending corrected claims or appeals).
• Prepare letters and bills for patients and discuss outstanding balances with them over the phone.
• Record payments in the system.
• Generate reports and aging analysis to ensure all payments have been received.
