Support Worker, Young Person

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Delivering consistent, relationship-focused assistance within the community

• Facilitating access to activities, interests, and new experiences

• Promoting independence, confidence, and choice at a suitable pace

• Utilizing calm and adaptable communication that demonstrates an understanding of autism and PDA

• Adhering to established support plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols

• Maintaining clear and precise records after each shift

• Collaborating effectively with the family and the Freedom Care team

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence and access to a dependable vehicle with business-use insurance are mandatory

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and all necessary safer recruitment assessments

• Ability to provide satisfactory references and proof of your right to work in the UK

• Experience in supporting autistic individuals and/or those with a PDA profile is desirable, though not required
