This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Microsoft Support Administrator is an essential member of the Coretek NOC team, tasked with delivering Level 2 support for client environments around the clock. Coretek is looking for a Microsoft Support Administrator to oversee and assist with our clients’ Microsoft-based infrastructure. We are eager to welcome a detail-oriented, technically proficient, and highly motivated individual who possesses a strong eagerness to learn and a determination to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting. The ideal candidate will be accountable for providing Level 2 technical support to end-users, managing Azure & Microsoft 365 support services, aiding in Entra ID administration, and collaborating closely with Coretek and Microsoft engineers on more intricate application challenges.
• **Responsibilities:**
• Provide technical support for Microsoft products including Microsoft Azure, Windows, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and Power BI.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and groups.
• Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Online, including email flow and mailboxes.
• Perform Active Directory administration and troubleshooting, including group policy management.
• Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to Microsoft and Azure environments promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist in backup, recovery, and security best practices utilizing Microsoft tools.
• Escalate and collaborate with Coretek engineers and Microsoft to address complex technical issues.
• Track the progress of client incidents and requests throughout the entire lifecycle to ensure issues are resolved within the agreed-upon Operation Level Agreement.
• Communicate the status of tickets internally and externally, directly with clients.
• Create and maintain IT knowledge base articles.
• Assist in cross-training other NOC support team members as necessary.
• **Requirements:**
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology is preferred, or equivalent experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) within a medium-to-large data center environment supporting multiple clients and systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Administration.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange Online, and Teams.
• Required Certifications:
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Azure Fundamentals: AZ-900.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune is a plus.
• Knowledge of MFA and Conditional Access support technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is preferred.
• Familiarity with remote support and event management tools, with ServiceNow being preferred.
• Strong listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when monitoring and maintaining systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Skilled at communicating effectively with individuals at all levels of technical expertise.
• A strong sense of urgency and capacity to multitask efficiently.
• Proficiency in English.
