This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of the Business Unit supply planning cycle, encompassing rough-cut capacity planning, alignment of master scheduling, balancing supply and demand, reviewing constraints, evaluating risks and opportunities, developing scenarios, and facilitating Supply Review.
• Develop Business Unit supply plans and propose strategies for re-allocation and mitigation that address service, cost, inventory, EBIT, and working capital impacts.
• Oversee dependent-demand propagation throughout the supply chain network and collaborate with other Business Unit Supply Planners.
• Serve as the primary planning liaison with site planners for Rough-Cut Capacity Planning and escalate any unresolved constraints.
• Ensure alignment of production and procurement plans with the consensus demand plan; identify and escalate structural deviations.
• Promote exception-based planning that focuses on service risk, capacity risk, breaches in the frozen zone, and inventory risk.
• Encourage the adoption of the AFEMEA Planning Playbook and mentor site planning teams on planning standards and capability enhancement.
• Foster alignment and consensus across sites without direct authority and incorporate site-level learnings into future planning standards.
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of planning master data, define central data needs, and collaborate with sites, BI, data, and IT teams to address gaps.
• Establish and sustain supply-planning visibility across diverse systems utilizing capacity, load, and inventory perspectives.
• Guarantee that KPIs and reviews are based on reliable data; document standard procedures, support training and onboarding, and implement continuous improvement techniques.
• Participate in planning system implementation and enhancement, including SAP IBP and subsequent tools.
• Recognize business continuity risks and suggest alternative site options.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 5–8+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within an international B2B or FMCG matrix environment.
• Prior experience in a supply planning position within a large organization.
• Direct experience working with manufacturing sites is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to partner and present to individuals at the Director and VP levels.
• Capacity to foresee demand and capacity risks and present scenarios with transparent trade-offs.
• Skill in protecting the frozen horizon and managing exceptions within established guidelines.
• Experience in managing safety stock, minimum order quantities, lot-size logic, days inventory outstanding, and obsolescence.
• Exceptional analytical skills and structured root-cause analysis capabilities across diverse data environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, influencing, and coaching abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a solid working knowledge of BI and analytical tools, such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with SAP IBP or similar supply chain planning software is preferred.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional European language is a significant advantage.
