Supply Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily management of fuel supply operations involving various suppliers and terminals.

• Ensure that carriers have access to fuel supply locations that are both cost-effective and operationally efficient.

• Oversee supply activities and pinpoint opportunities to enhance flexibility and profitability.

• Implement setups for suppliers, terminals, and loading numbers.

• Keep supplier and terminal information updated in internal databases.

• Aid in fulfilling contractual obligations and executing operations with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Examine supply, logistics, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Assist in managing supply disruptions, allocation challenges, and operational issues.

• Resolve terminal loading problems, allocation restrictions, and supplier performance concerns.

• Collaborate with Supply, Logistics, Operations, and Technology teams to enhance processes.

• Create and implement solutions that boost efficiency, visibility, and operational performance.

• Promote continuous improvement within supply chain and logistics functions.

• Cultivate relationships with suppliers, terminal operators, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Share operational insights and recommendations to aid decision-making.

• Provide reporting and analysis aimed at optimizing supply costs, service levels, and profitability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commodities, fuel supply, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related fields.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in the fuel, energy, commodities, logistics, or transportation sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with supplier management, terminal operations, or fuel logistics is advantageous.

• Knowledge of analytical tools such as DTN TABS, DTN Fuel Buyer, Tableau, Power BI, or similar is preferred.

• Background in working with large datasets and operational reporting is preferred.
