This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of Arrow's supply chain solutions portfolio and pertinent case studies.
• Employ consultative questioning techniques to identify customer pain points.
• Develop tailored solutions that address the specific needs of the customer.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding and proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative methods to support the benefits statement.
• Achieve success by enhancing Arrow's share of the customer's spending.
• Work collaboratively with sales teams, utilizing tools such as whitespace analysis to highlight high-potential customers.
• Formulate strategies to engage customer influencers and decision-makers with the goal of attaining over 50% of their component spending.
• Gain insight into Arrow's financial goals (EBIT and RoWC), ensuring that any solution design meets the required thresholds within an acceptable timeframe.
• Oversee the maintenance of implemented supply chain solutions, transitioning to a combination of Sales and Business Process Excellence.
• Become the subject matter expert and steward of the sales funnel for Arrow's fee-for-service portfolio, encompassing: In-house semiconductor programming services, long-term inventory solutions (including nitrogen storage and component leasing), third-party value-added services, strategic buffer stocks & inventory programs, and enterprise solutions.
• Generally requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the electronic component industry, along with applicable supply chain and manufacturing practices.
• Proven experience in solution selling and influencing at the executive level.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create effective strategies.
• Experience in project management and collaborative teamwork.
• Recognized as an expert in their respective area within the organization.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise.
• Interprets internal or external business challenges and recommends solutions or best practices.
• Capable of solving complex problems by adopting a broad perspective to identify solutions.
• Works independently, requiring guidance only in the most complex situations.
• Advancement to this level is typically limited based on business needs.
• Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex challenges.
• Acts as an expert within their function.
• Leads functional teams or projects and serves as a resource for best practices and quality.
