Senior Analyst, Inventory Appraisals, English and French Fluency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with banks and other asset-based lending clients to gain insights into company-provided data for the preparation of inventory assessments and appraisal reports.

• Offer comprehensive support for both ongoing and new valuations, due diligence, analysis, and data collection, ensuring the accuracy of the information received.

• Operate in accordance with established methodologies, utilizing standard models and templates under guidance.

• Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, both independently and collaboratively with team members.

• Conduct follow-up calls with companies to confirm that information has not been misinterpreted.

• Analyze key performance metrics and compile values along with justifications for approval.

• Guarantee the production of top-quality deliverables while surpassing client expectations in terms of professionalism and timely execution.

• Research in sectors such as retail, consumer products, and industrial markets; proactively relay significant events or potential leads that could influence or generate business opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and French, with strong written and spoken communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in business commerce or a related field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.

• 4-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in business, auditing, finance, lending, or consulting.

• Required proficiency in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of MS PowerPoint is a plus.

• Thorough understanding of financial statements is crucial, including the allocation of overhead expenses and a deep comprehension of inventory and other asset accounting methodologies.

• Proven analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and project management abilities.

• Self-driven with the capability and eagerness to oversee multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability and readiness to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing several projects concurrently with a strong focus on detail.
