This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the materials strategy for the designated global business unit.
• Guide the global materials team to achieve the goals of Jabil and its clients.
• Continuously assess individual and team strengths as well as development needs.
• Develop and/or verify training programs relevant to your area of expertise.
• Advocate for the implementation and execution of Jabil’s standard planning and inventory approaches.
• Ensure that a feasible Master Schedule is established to align with customer demands and Jabil's revenue forecasts.
• Supervise the regular materials quotation cycle for Strategic Commodities within the Business Unit.
• Negotiate advantageous pricing, payment conditions, and advanced supply chain optimization initiatives.
• High School Diploma and 5-6 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing and materials management are mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of interacting with both internal and external clients and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.
