Supply Chain Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Execute buyer duties across various categories, supplier types, or operational sectors.

• Process product orders to suppliers on a daily basis while adhering to minimum and maximum inventory thresholds.

• Report shortages and surpluses to suppliers and oversee credits or resolutions.

• Complete drug addition submissions as required.

• Assess supplier order statuses and expedite orders when necessary.

• Monitor purchase orders and provide tracking information for delivery and freight.

• Comply with supplier contractual obligations, inventory targets, and service expectations.

• Identify and mitigate out-of-stock circumstances.

• Analyze out-of-stock incidents to ascertain root causes.

• Support purchasing strategies that align with sourcing approaches and business needs.

• Ensure availability of drugs, supplies, and other products for pharmacy operations.

• Effectively communicate supply-related issues.

• Manage relationships both internally and externally.

• Extract data and conduct reporting and analysis to aid purchasing decisions.

• Work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with pharmacy operations teams and suppliers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in pharmacy.

• Understanding of supply chain processes.

• Capability to manage projects and drive initiatives.

• Experience with Inventory Planning Systems (preferred).

• Prior purchasing experience (preferred).

• Advanced knowledge (preferred).

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).

• Home internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
