Supply Chain Manager – Infusion Clinics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete supply chain for specialty pharmaceuticals and associated clinical supplies across infusion clinics and physician practices.

• Uphold ordering procedures and purchasing regulations among wholesalers, specialty distributors, manufacturers, and authorized vendors.

• Analyze purchasing behaviors, usage trends, lead times, and clinic timetables to ascertain medication order quantities.

• Ensure that medications are sourced from approved vendors in compliance with the organization's purchasing guidelines.

• Collaborate with finance, pharmacy, and leadership in manufacturer relations on purchasing prospects, contract performance, and cost acquisition trends.

• Create and sustain standardized inventory management protocols across various locations.

• Conduct or oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliations.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and formulate corrective action plans.

• Manage product transfers between sites to mitigate waste and enhance medication utilization.

• Maintain inventory controls for medications that require specialized handling or storage.

• Assist in the supply chain integration of newly acquired practices and new infusion sites.

• Evaluate current drug inventory, vendors, purchasing accounts, storage capabilities, and inventory workflows.

• Facilitate transitions to organizational purchasing standards and approved vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare supply chain management, medication inventory, pharmacy operations, infusion services, physician practice operations, or similar fields.

• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

• Proven experience managing multiple locations or operating within a decentralized inventory framework.

• Familiarity with specialty pharmaceutical wholesalers or distributors.

• Capability to assess medication usage and convert demand into purchasing and inventory necessities.

• In-depth understanding of inventory management, purchasing protocols, and medication expiration oversight.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
