This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Implement inventory management and purchasing strategies for designated facilities.
• Minimize supply and inventory expenses while enhancing services for surgery center partners.
• Establish and operationally enroll centers with the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partner.
• Enroll centers in relevant corporate purchasing programs and contracts.
• Maintain pharmacy licenses and DEA records to meet vendor contract requirements.
• Develop monitoring systems to ensure compliance with GPO and corporate contracts.
• Address issues between centers and vendors, providing solutions to senior supply chain leadership.
• Generate monthly vendor utilization reports by center for corporate contracts.
• Conduct cost and usage analyses utilizing MOR and vendor utilization data.
• Assess product spending and savings opportunities, presenting recommendations accordingly.
• Engage with assigned centers on a monthly basis regarding their materials management and purchasing needs.
• Participate in educational training sessions related to Materials Management for center directors.
• Maintain directories of vendors, databases, and GPO contract portfolios.
• Inform operations teams about modifications to contracts and changes to product offerings.
• Review proposed contracts and agreements for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the renewal of corporate contracts.
• Support centers in sourcing and procuring capital equipment.
• Complete other assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure regular and dependable attendance.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year College or University.
• At least four (4) years of progressive experience in supply chain or materials management within a healthcare environment.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software, preferably Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading the conversion of physician preference items to enhance contract compliance.
• Capability to implement tactical solutions across affected sites in alignment with strategic goals.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with effectiveness and efficiency.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some evenings, based on business requirements.
