This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the procurement process, which includes sourcing, evaluating vendors, and negotiating contracts.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors/suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and sustain optimal inventory levels to align with production schedules without excessive stock.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory, address discrepancies, and implement effective inventory control strategies.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and various departments to forecast material needs.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and all procurement-related documentation.
• Track and analyze inventory key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover, shrinkage, and lead times, providing regular updates to management.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance procurement and inventory processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Basic proficiency in Mandarin, both spoken and understood.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/inventory management software.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capable of analyzing data to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
• Required Headset: Noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port.
• REQUIRED WebCam: At least 3 megapixels with 720p recording capability.
