This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +3 more states.
• Identify, develop, and present opportunities that support the lifecycle of category management for products and services.
• Lead negotiations related to contracts and procurement, encompassing financial value as well as business terms and conditions.
• Provide guidance to internal customers and the Category Management team across both clinical and business sectors.
• Foster supplier relationships to enhance contract value and performance.
• Collaborate across different functions to achieve optimal results.
• Assist in the development and execution of contract opportunities in conjunction with Supply Chain functions and resources.
• Negotiate products and services across various business lines in alignment with clinical and operational needs.
• Initiate, develop, and manage Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
• Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities or impacts.
• Connect strategy to outcomes by comprehending organizational requirements and supplier motivations.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the Category Management process.
• Plan and implement recurring tasks using established procedures, consulting Category Management leadership when necessary.
• Comply with federal and state laws and regulations that govern contracting and procurement.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with five years of relevant work experience potentially considered in lieu of formal education.
• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience is necessary.
• Experience related to supply chain, contract preparation, and/or administration is required.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
• Regular negotiation of contract terms and conditions is expected.
• Project management skills are necessary.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to adapt to a diverse range of work is essential.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Familiarity with commonly used Microsoft Office functions is necessary.
• Certification in Supply Chain or Contracting is preferred.
