Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support the Logistics Operations team with everyday transportation and carrier-related tasks.

• Address operational inquiries and assist with daily logistics requirements.

• Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot issues and meet business goals.

• Contribute to special projects and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Maintain and refresh logistics databases and repositories.

• Assist in auditing and reviewing carrier documentation, agreements, and compliance records.

• Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of transportation, terminal, and carrier information.

• Keep operational records and reporting systems maintained.

• Oversee workflow requests and approval procedures across various business functions.

• Aid in transportation and carrier vetting processes.

• Monitor workflow advancement and assist in resolving process bottlenecks.

• Track and report on carrier performance metrics.

• Assist with operational reports and observe service levels throughout the carrier network.

• Recognize trends and opportunities for enhancing operational performance and customer satisfaction.

• Gather, organize, and analyze operational data.

• Help with KPI reporting and monitoring business performance.

• Support logistics leaders with reporting, audits, and special projects.

• Convert data into actionable insights and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations, or a related area.

• Experience in supporting logistics operations, carrier management, transportation coordination, billing, or operational support tasks.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience in transportation, fuel, logistics, supply chain, or distribution sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with carrier management, transportation operations, or freight coordination is a plus.

• Background in business systems, databases, workflow platforms, or logistics software is preferred.

• Knowledge of fuel transportation, shipping, or loading operations is an advantage.

• Highly organized and detail-focused.

• Comfortable working with data, reports, and operational procedures.

• Eager to learn about the transportation and logistics industry.

• Adaptable and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
