This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
β’ Identify, develop, and present opportunities that support the lifecycle of category management for products and/or services.
β’ Lead negotiations on contracts and procurement that involve financial values and business terms and conditions.
β’ Provide guidance to internal customers and the Category Management team across various clinical and business lines.
β’ Build and maintain supplier relationships to enhance contract value and performance.
β’ Collaborate across different functions to achieve optimal results.
β’ Develop and implement contract opportunities in conjunction with Supply Chain functions and resources.
β’ Negotiate the acquisition of products and/or services across multiple business lines in alignment with clinical and operational needs.
β’ Initiate, create, and oversee Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
β’ Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities or impacts.
β’ Link strategy to outcomes by comprehending organizational requirements and supplier motivations.
β’ Engage in the development and ongoing enhancement of Category Management processes.
β’ Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to contracting and procurement.
β’ Plan and execute recurring work following established procedures, consulting with Category Management leadership as needed.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
β’ Alternatively, five years of relevant work experience in supply chain, contract preparation, and/or administration may be accepted.
β’ A minimum of three years of related work experience is necessary.
β’ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is mandatory.
β’ Supply Chain or Contracting certification is preferred.
β’ Understanding of typical contract terms and conditions negotiations is essential.
β’ Strong project management skills are required.
β’ Familiarity with commonly used functions in Microsoft Office is necessary.
β’ Ability to adapt to a varied portfolio of work is essential.
β’ Attention to detail is crucial.
