This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

• Act as the main operational point of contact for a designated portfolio of supplier facilities

• Perform monthly or quarterly on-site assessments to review production processes

• Offer operational consulting and technical advice to enhance production flow efficiency

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the successful launch of new products

• Propel ongoing quality improvement initiatives by identifying the root causes of defects

• Create, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Evaluate supplier performance through detailed scorecards and reporting systems

• Work alongside operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams

• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supplier network

• Examine operational data and production metrics

• Lead problem-solving discussions with supplier leadership teams

• Design and present training programs to enhance supplier capabilities

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is mandatory

• Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or operations consulting

• At least 2 years of experience working directly in production environments, supplier networks, or vendor management within a distributed network

• Minimum of 2 years in a management role

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) or a similar continuous improvement certification is highly desirable

• A solid grasp of manufacturing operations, production systems, and supply chain management principles

• Expertise in industrial engineering concepts, including workflow optimization, capacity analysis, and labor modeling

• Strong analytical capabilities
