Supplier Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee Supplier performance related to planning, production, and timely delivery.

• Partner with Suppliers to track and manage production processes.

• Collaborate with material and production planning teams to synchronize company needs with supplier commitments and plans.

• Foster positive Supplier engagement by applying manufacturing operations theories and principles of material management/SIOP.

• Enhance on-time delivery rates by promoting proactive practices with Suppliers.

• Direct the Supplier SIOP process and develop capacity plans to meet current demands.

• Comprehend material needs effectively.

• Evaluate logistics and operations to pinpoint opportunities for performance improvement.

• Report to the Senior Manager of Supplier Manufacturing Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, or Materials Management.

• Proven experience in managing suppliers.

• Certification as a Six-Sigma Green Belt, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM), or equivalent experience.
